This role will play a crucial part in our company's financial operations, providing expert financial advice, managing financial systems and budgets, conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities, and producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with 5 years of experience in the field. This role requires a high level of proficiency in monthly reporting and reconciliation. Responsibilities As a Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include: 1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. 2. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. 3. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. 4. Coordinate and complete annual audits. 5. Provide recommendations for improving systems and processes. 6. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions. 7. Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy. 8. Meet financial accounting objectives. 9. Conducting regular ledger reconciliation and monthly reporting. 10. Ensuring compliance with state revenue service. 11. Working closely with financial management team to create budgets and financial forecasts. 12. Assisting in the formulation of strategic and long-term business plans. 13. Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. 3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 4. Expertise in preparing monthly reports and conducting reconciliation. 5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 6. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel. 8. Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP. 9. Excellent communication and leadership skills. 10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity. 11. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
