Job Description Job Description Director of Finance – Foundation The Director of Finance – Foundation provides strategic and operational financial leadership for Health’s Foundation, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective partnership with the hospital system. This director-level role operates hands-on, requiring flexibility to manage details, review ledgers, and support day-to-day financial operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide financial oversight for the Foundation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Serve as the primary financial liaison between the Foundation and Facility. Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets, goals, and internal controls. Lead continuous improvement of financial processes, workflows, and controls. Oversee accounting operations in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit standards. Supervise, develop, and evaluate staff to maximize performance and accountability. Stay current on nonprofit, foundation, and healthcare finance best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required) Master’s degree in Accounting, MBA, or Public Administration (highly preferred) 7 years of financial leadership experience (required) 4 years of nonprofit experience (required) Must-Have Experience (in order of importance) Nonprofit finance Foundation finance Healthcare environment (preferably large hospital systems) Grants management and reporting Key Skills Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High attention to detail with strong analytical judgment Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and nonprofit accounting Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
