Description American Bank is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Branch Manager. The ideal candidate must be well organized, flexible and self-directed, with excellent judgment. This position will provide employee leadership, guidance and training to achieve a high level of job knowledge and professional development in order for their team to deliver a superior customer experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Responsibilities: Supervise flow of branch to ensure operating schedules, processes and procedures are met Focus on operation functions including sales, loss control, compliance, customer service and audit controls Coach and develop team Shares a team vision and fosters open communication with staff and is a positive role model for all employees Participate in planning and conducting of operational and service staff meetings Review existing procedures and recommend improvements Collaborate on rollout and implementation of new and updated processes and procedures Qualifications Requirements & Qualifications: Ability to work effectively as a team member Ability to multi-task Ability to prioritize Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills Drive to learn Ability to learn to use new technology effectively Ability to listen effectively Ability to train employees Strong communication skills Ability to give and receive feedback Ability to facilitate change High Energy Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 2-5 years of related experience 3 years’ experience in financial services industry Knowledge of bank operations including functions, products, services and regulations
