Position: Senior Systems Engineer (Plano, Texas)

Duties: Provide product and technical support to customers with respect to

deployed communications products. Resolve customer issues that arise from

the use of the deployed communications products on LTE, VoLTE or VoWiFi

networks. Troubleshoot issues related to the probes, data integrity, and

KPI performances leveraging tools such as ISA, ITA, IPI, and IPA. Perform

end to end call flows using ISA for different wireless protocols including

NAS, S1-AP, Diameter, HTTP, DNS, SIP, RTP, and IMS architecture.

Troubleshoot server issues using Unix, Linux or SQL commands. Analyze and

resolve issues and escalate as necessary to drive to conclusion.

Communicate with the customers regarding product usage, periodic ongoing

maintenance support, and software upgrades. Provide input for technical

documentation, in written or oral form, including procedures, examples and

technical descriptions. Communicate with product management and

programmers regarding technical documentation, software bugs, and follow-up to

to ensure fixes are made and supplied to the customer.

Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering,

Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience

performing end-to-end telecommunications troubleshooting on LTE and VoLTE ne

networks; or in the alternative, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign eq

equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications En

Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of ex

experience as indicated above.

Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): leveraging Wireshark to

troubleshoot HTTP, DNS, GTP, SIP and RTP protocol packets; DE utilizing

Unix and Linux to perform server-side monitoring and troubleshooting; DE p

performing SQL queries to access databases and troubleshoot network p

products; and DE interfacing with external performance engineering teams to p

perform test cases, monitor networks, and resolve product bugs and issues.
