Job Title: Safety Director Location: Texas and surrounding area Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 5 years Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Safety Director to oversee safety programs across steel construction projects involving cranes, lifting, and rigging operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing safety on similar projects, with a strong background in compliance and risk management. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and training sessions Monitor compliance with OSHA and industry regulations Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Collaborate with project managers and field teams to promote a culture of safety Manage documentation related to safety programs and reports Travel throughout the state to oversee safety on various project sites (travel expenses and lodging covered by the company) Qualifications: 5 years of experience overseeing safety on steel construction projects involving cranes, lifting, and rigging Bachelor’s degree preferred Certified Safety and Health Technician (CHST), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) accreditation highly preferred Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability and willingness to travel as required Contact mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com with a resume for more information All conversations are 100% confidential All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
