active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical
Therapist position is available for a leave replacement contract
from February through May in the Dallas, TX area. The role serves a
K-12 school setting, providing essential therapeutic support to
students to enhance their physical capabilities and academic
performance. Experience in school-based physical therapy is highly
valued and will contribute to success in this role. Key
Responsibilities: - Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy
interventions tailored to individual student needs. - Collaborate
with educators, parents, and school staff to support student
progress. - Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and provide
reports in compliance with educational and healthcare guidelines. -
Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and
contribute to goal setting. Qualifications and Experience: -
Licensed Physical Therapist with credentials valid in Texas. -
Experience working in school environments or with pediatric
populations preferred. - Strong communication skills and ability to
work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. - Knowledge of
K-12 education system and related therapeutic practices. Location:
- Position based in Dallas, TX, servicing a K-12 school setting.
