The Integrated Manufacturing Project Engineer is responsible for providing value and to support the project team by assisting the Project Manager in a variety of functions including, evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments on Mission Critical Integrated Manufacturing projects. Project Engineers learn about and apply established procedures and techniques in accomplishment of work activities, with an overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that are in compliance with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this entry-level position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. This role is very similar in nature to a Construction Project Engineer, but with the added benefits that come with working in a clean, controlled environment. Work is generally performed in climate-controlled office environment. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Considerable time is spent at a desk using a computer terminal. May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment. Can be exposed to hazardous materials, loud noises and extreme heat/cold temperatures, if visiting job sites or other off-site events. Can be exposed to Heavy Equipment, slippery surfaces, uneven footing on the jobsite Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light foot traffic). PHYSICAL FUNCTION:Repeat the same mental activities. Ability to operate a keyboard at efficient speed and typical business office equipment, including computer hardware. Regularly required to talk and/or hear; use hands to operate objects, tools or controls (phone, computer, printer etc.); and reach with hands and arms. Work performed causes fatigue of eyes, fingers and other facilities because of continuous use of motor senses. Vision and hearing at or correctable to normal ranges. May be occasionally be asked to lift, stoop, kneel, and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands. Regular, predictable attendance is required. QualificationsB.S. degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering, or other related field position.3 - 4 years of relevant construction related trade experience.Must possess the technical skills and knowledge required to perform essential tasks in an efficient and effective mannerAnalytical approach to problem solving and identifying potential solutionsAbility to collaborate effectively with technical teams, crossfunctional teams and suppliersEffective team player who adds complementary skills and contributes valuable ideas, opinions and feedbackUses verbal and written skills effectively to ensure that information is successfully shared throughout the organizationGood math and problem-solving skills are requiredThoroughly familiar with National Electrical Code preferredAdaptable, innovative, and eager to continue learning and growing with the company's directionDemonstrated ability to build relationships, communicates effectively at all levels of the organization, and lead through influence - with the purpose of driving change and delivering positive outcomesProficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook Exchange.Values and incorporates contributions of people from diverse backgrounds.Winning attitude that motivates people, and a results orientation These statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position.
