Description: Lockheed Martin is looking for a Process
Automation/Robotics Engineer. The Grand Prairie facility is
responsible for manufacturing PWBs, CCAs, and cable and harness
assemblies, as well as precision part machining, welding, ceramic
grinding and mechanical assembly. Our facility has robotic weld
cells in operation and several other automation projects in work.
We intend to continuously push the limits of part and assembly
fabrication and are looking for the right candidate to deploy
automated systems as well as retrofit existing systems. This
position is responsible for the development, design, programming,
testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems as well
as other advanced manufacturing technologies. The Robotics Engineer
will be self-directed and is expected to work on several different
tasks-drafting, design, programming, working with outside
integrators, etc. with a heavy focus on execution of automation and
manufacturing technology projects throughout the site. This
position requires the ability to successfully execute multiple
projects simultaneously with minimal supervision. This position
requires communicating and interfacing across multi-faceted teams,
including other functions, customers, and executives.
Basic Qualifications:
--- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Computer Engineering, or related technical degree. Exceptional
related experience may supersede degree requirement.
--- Experience managing and executing technical projects.
--- Experience integrating advanced manufacturing technologies into
production processes.
--- Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability
to communicate with all levels of management
Desired Skills:
--- Experience with equipment specification development.
--- Project and budget management experience.
--- Experience leading others and creating a team environment.
--- Knowledge of industry best practices for a broad range of
manufacturing techniques.
--- Creative approach to technical problem solving.
--- Experience with flexible automation/robotics systems
development and production support.
--- Robotic programming experience with multiple robot OEMs (ABB,
Fanuc, UR, etc.)
--- Related automation experience with HMI, PLC's (e.g. Siemens,
Allen Bradley, Rockwell, or others) and general control system
design.
--- CAD modelling capability (Creo, Solidworks, or others)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
