Description: The candidate will be responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering team that supports production of ATACMS missiles.
The candidate will provide leadership to the individuals on program with Electrical Engineering skillset. The team will be responsible for evaluating production failures, technical management of a suppliers, and helping with proposal activity. This role is responsible for helping the team interpret requirements and ensure flow down to suppliers. Candidates will help provide guidance in determining the appropriate actions needed to support customer needs and contract requirements. There must be a willingness to learn the ATACMS missile system and how it interacts with the launcher and test equipment. Responsibilities will include working within their team and cross functional teams to effectively address integration and interface challenges faced during production. Candidates in this role help to evaluate/troubleshoot and provide technical direction during failure investigations. Previous experience with MRBE and FRB processes is preferred. Previous experience with Control Account Manager (CAM) duties is preferred.
Support will be at the Grand Prairie location.
Candidate with be responsible for leading engineering activities supporting program transition to production activities (troubleshooting of hardware, working with Operations to resolve line stops, requirement updates, etc.) Candidate will be responsible for ensuring any technical issues relative to production are addressed and resolved in a timely manner to support contractual delivery schedules.
Candidate will work closely with program and operations management and will status/report to the program area chief engineer.
Basic Qualifications:
-Candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
- Process Improvement and Affordability experience
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and follow a schematic/spec
- BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
