Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Warranty Engineer to
join our high horsepower manufacturing team in Grand Prairie. In
this position, you will be working in a team, providing a

issues/disputes from customers or clients.

Responsibilities:
--- Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through
to resolution
--- Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and
discussions
--- Provide resolution to the issue reported in the field.
--- Schedule field service and send required material for the
resolution of issues.
--- Ensure problems are resolved in a cost-effective way and in a
timely manner.
--- Report back on results. Generate reports of claims for
monitoring of costs and implementation of corrective actions.
--- Collaborate with team to identify and implement process
improvements.
--- You will represent Siemens in a customer facing role with our
customers.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
--- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (+2
years of experience)
--- Track record of structured Problem Solving (Root Cause
Analysis, Corrective & Preventive Action, 4D/8D)
--- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a cross
functional team and ability to make the right judgments and
decisions.
--- Excellent analytical skills, root cause analysis skills, time
management skills, be self-motivated and self-directing and ability
to proceed with minimal direction and information, good data mining
skills and good computer skills, ability to self-learn, good
networking skills
--- In-depth understanding of agile methodologies and up-to-date on
industry standards and best practices.
--- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time
efficiently.
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
--- Ability to explain sophisticated technical findings to
customers
--- Technical Writing: Author and present detailed Root Cause
Analysis reports to internal and external customers
--- Advanced Project Management skills
--- Willingness to travel to customer sites (-10-20% of time)
--- Microsoft office, Visual basic and Macros experience.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
--- Experience with Low Voltage equipment or products preferred
--- SAP experience preferred
