Job Description:
Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of commercial machinery,
has an immediate need for an experienced Controls Engineer, to join
our winning team in Flower Mound. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Design or
Review automation and network design layouts of our
equipmentCommission PLC controls for food process, product handling
and packaging equipmentAdvise on costing, design and controls
related to the project).Design electrical or electronic control
systemsDesign PLC, HMI and SCADA control systemsSupervise
electrical installations of partnersCommission systems and train
operators on system controlsExpected travel will be 30% of time KEY
REQUIREMENTS:Degree in Electrical EngineeringHas programmed PLC
systems from scratch (Redlion, Allen Bradley, WonderWare &
Siemens)Knowledge of the workings of system control
panelsExperience in the food industry a distinct
advantageExperience in a continuous process environmentExperience
of using AutoCAD, SCADA or MES systems a plusExperience with Servo
