WestRock, a leader in the global packaging industry, is seeking an Electrician Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance Department. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing machinery efficiency to support our commitment to innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to the upkeep of WestRocks diverse machinery used in the production and packaging processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in line with our sustainability goals and customer satisfaction focus. Conduct routine and emergency maintenance and repairs on all types of machinery used in the manufacturing process. Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and components, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Ensure electrical systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop systems that improve machine reliability and efficiency. Perform installations and upgrades, while also providing continuous improvement feedback. Record maintenance and repair work in detail for compliance and reporting purposes. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs and high-voltage systems. Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools like multimeters, amp clamps, and oscilloscopes. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Experience with electrical safety standards and procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Electrician’s License is required. Certification in Electrical Maintenance and Installation. OSHA Safety Certification is advantageous.
