The company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and has achieved a more than six fold order book increase since 2000.Position Summary: Reporting to the IM Portfolio and Project Manager, this position is responsible for project managing any Information Management (IM) or Infrastructure components of Business solution requested by Airbus Helicopters in North America.AIRBUS requires that all employees, temporary workers, and contractors of Airbus will be fully vaccinated by December 8, 2021 or prior to employment.Primary Responsibilities:1. Project Management: 50%Partner with the business to better understand manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics processes to deliver innovative/digital solutions bringing value to the Airbus Helicopters.Collaborate with the business on one side and with the infrastructure teams on the other side to ensure the proper design and implementation of business application projects in the frame of local or division-wide or group-wide initiativesAccountable for developing clear and concise requirements for projects.Plans and drives execution of the major strategic projects, working cross-functionally to manage risks, cost, quality, and rollout over the duration identifying and resolving concerns or blockers as they ariseIdentifies secures and oversees the appropriate level of project management resources for projects.Liaise and synchronize with the IM infrastructure team to ensure smooth deployment and appropriate level of performance of the end to end services2. Planning & Budgeting: 20%Contribute to the yearly Master Plan exercise by providing inputs/opportunities to the IM Governance teamEvaluate costs and budget requirements (OPEX and CAPEX) for the foreseen projects and services in the Helicopter DivisionFollow-up budget and costs related to projects and services activitiesWorks with IM Governance to identify and capture (operational and project) license cost elements in the IM budget. Maintains the portfolio of infrastructure projects including obsolescence planning for infrastructure services of the Airbus Helicopters3. Service Operations: 20%Collaborates with local and central Service Delivery Managers and resources to support entry into service and operational hand-offs are completed for applications and digital solutions deployed in Airbus Helicopters.Provides resource capacity planning for Service Integration and Documentation elements of the project to ensure proper maintenance of operational documentation and procedures.Responsible for deploying infrastructure solutions designed for Helicopter operations and integrated back into EuropeResponsible for guaranteeing the proper level of service according to agreed SLA established with the businessAdditional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned: 10%After hours project execution and integration support when applicableCollaborates with global Airbus IM counterparts to develop and improve processes and solutions for the Airbus HelicoptersEnsures compliance with security standards & evolving cybersecurity requirements.Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education:Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experiencePreferred: Master's degree or other certification preferredExperience:Minimum five (5) years of project management experience, working independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholder groups in a large, multi-team environmentMust have a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing infrastructure and IM operational projects.Must have demonstrated experience in utilizing Portfolio KPIs and metrics to successfully manage delivery outcomes.License /Certifications:Preferred: Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:Sharp, energetic, assertive, results-oriented, and able to shift gears when needed in a rapidly evolving environmentAbility to present ideas, collaborate effectively, and influence at all levels of the organizationKnowledge in Analytics and Visual Management business needsCommunication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):Excellent, clear, and concise communication skills, both oral and written.Must be able to explain complex topics in simple terms and or aligned with business acumen.Fluency in English is mandatory, German or French language skills are a plusTechnical Systems Proficiency:Experience with Resource Planning and Allocations and different project management strategiesExperience with KPIs's / Metric development and measurementTravel Required: 10% Domestic and InternationalBehavioral Success Factors:Experience in working with multicultural teams.Ability to adapt to a changing environment.Able to work closely and effectively with all levels of business and ICT management Recognizes, and focuses the department on, high priority objectives.
