SKILLS REQUIRED --- 3+ Years of Relevant Experience--- Advanced knowledge of building maintenance--- Ability to Travel 10% of the time --- Ability to Complete Physical Duties --- Ability to work a flexible schedule--- On call 24/7 JOB DESCRIPTION:The Facilities Manager or Technical Services Manager (TSM) reports to the General Manager and is tasked with keeping our equipment and centers running efficiently. The TSM will be responsible for training, managing and motivating a team of hourly technicians, maintaining costs and inventory, and proactively managing the facilities of their center.WHAT MAKES A GREAT TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER?

  • Must be highly successful in demonstrating Technical Services aptitude: Can successfully perform the technical fundamentals related to repairs and preventive maintenance; has knowledge of related equipment, tools and systems (how they function and the deployment)
  • Ability to move lane maintenance equipment (approximately 250 lbs.), climb ladders and possess the strength required to repair, clean and maintain the facility machines and equipment
  • Expertise in bowling: mechanics, pinsetters, scoring, cleaning, etc.
  • Expertise in the technical services of the business: building, AV, equipment, tools, games, etc.
  • Must be highly successful in demonstrating Diagnostic Skills: Able to effectively use diagnostic instruments to determine an issue and how to complete the repair as efficiently as possible. Has successfully shown the ability to articulate and train the steps of the troubleshooting method.
  • Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing business requirements
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
  • Ability to coach, develop and motivate others
  • Ability to collaborate and influence at multiple levels and cross-functionally
