Fireside Hearth and Home (FHH) is looking to add a -Regional
General Manager/VP - Dallas to our team. - -Since 1951, FHH has

Strategy/Execution -
- Develops, drives, measures, and oversees the 1-3 year strategic
plan for the overall business and by business/revenue segment
- Ensures the tactical plans, resources and budgets are in place
to achieve goals and aggressive profitable growth
- Investigates proactive organic sales growth opportunities
within each segment and in the region as well as new business
development
- Actively supports, drives, and implements the regional
initiatives and corporate initiatives in their assigned
branchesLeadership/Structure/People
- Maintains an effective organizational structure by delegating
authority, assigning responsibilities, and holding members
accountable and driving efficiencies of people/process
- Mentor and coaches' direct reports (as leaders themselves) to
assist and challenge them to think through their strategic and
tactical plans
- Leads and supports all members in achieving business results
and in their personal development via our IDP processes
- Ensures the members have the tools and systems to perform
effectively and ensuring our customers have a world-class
experienceFinancial
- Achieves all assigned financial goals of aggressive profitable
sales growth and EBIT by reviewing results, managing the P&L
and making business improvements as needed
- Responsible for the creation and execution of their assigned
budgets, business plans, capital budgets, and expense
authorizations
- Responsible for all leases (building, vehicles, etc.) and
facility management within their assigned branches and working with
Finance and SVP FHH per process/guidelines. -Process
- Promotes and uses a consistent Business Process Improvement
approach to develop or improve any and all processes
- Actively drives and supports the safety philosophy, policy, and
goals
- Maintains compliance with all organization policies, standards,
and practicesCustomer Focus / Sales
- Ensures world-class customer experience across departments and
processes
- Responsible for customer contract negotiationsThe -Regional
General Manager/VP of the Dallas Region has overall responsibility
for driving profitable growth and achieving the sales, financial
and strategic goals, this includes: -
- overseeing -two key business unit revenue streams, which
include:
- Fireplaces
- Garage Doors
- Understanding key customers and audiences, which include:
- Builders (national, regional, custom)
- Remodelers
- Commercial (Owners, Developers, General Contractors, Architects
and Designers)
- Homebuyers / Consumers
- Managing/leading -multiple cross-functional departments of a
complete business, including:
- Sales: any/all segments
- Marketing: across all areas
- Finance: budgeting, P&L management
- Operations: field operations, service operations, retail store
operations
- Customer Experience & Service
- Human ResourcesRequired Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation
skills
- Demonstrate effective leadership and management skills,
including coaching, performance management, training and developing
direct members and indirect members
- Develop and maintain effective relationships through excellent
interpersonal skills
- Work effectively with all levels and functional areas of the
business, as a team
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and understanding
of financial reports and concepts
- Must be able to travel as neededEducation & Experience
- Bachelor's degree - business, finance, operations, or related
field
- 10-15 years of experiences and development across disciplines -
sales, marketing, finance, operations
- 10+ years of team/departmental leadership experience driving
strategy, execution, and results
- 5-10 years of general management experience achieving results
and building talentPreferred Qualifications
- Master's degree - business, finance, operations, or related
field
- Background in distribution and/or consumer durable industry
preferred
- Specialty fireplace / hearth industry experience is highly
preferred and/or similar contractor businesses such as Plumbing,
HVAC, ElectricalFireside Hearth and Home is a part of the
