Volt is immediately hiring for an Outside Sales Account Manager in Rockford, Illinois.

As an Outside Sales Account Manager you will:

Manage a defined territory and all customers within it.
Source and provide the best material handling solutions for new and existing customers.
Develop strategic plans to increase sales volume and gross profit year over year.
Call on current and target accounts within your assigned territory, develop and make sales presentations, and ensure excellent customer service throughout every meeting.
Communicate effectively with the retail network and handle pre and post sales issues.
Work closely with sales and marketing management to develop sales and marketing strategies.
Maintain accurate records of customer profiles and interactions.
Attend regularly scheduled meetings internally and externally.
Collaborate with branch management and internal departments regarding receivables and allied equipment.
Prioritize timely follow-up with customers, managers, and internal staff.
Increase market share in your area.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in outside sales.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Willingness to travel (20-30%) and become certified in lift truck operation.
Reliable transportation.

Salary: Base salary of $48K - $60k, with first-year expected earnings of roughly $85k

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
