Lewisville, TX

We're hiring a Network Manager res ponsible for leading the Healthcare Alliances Subcontractor program for the Office of Emergency Management developing and executing the strategy and plan to recruit, contract, and deploy providers in disaster response operations. As part of the National Command Center Incident Management Team (IMT), the position must have the capability to deploy at a moment's notice to lead the identification, activation, and coordination of subcontractors for the healthcare alliances program.

Essential Duties and espo R nsibilities:

  • Network Manager will lead, develop, and execute a subcontractor recruitment strategy and plan for mass evacuation of healthcare facilities.
  • Develop, train, and exercise a comprehensive operational response plan for healthcare alliances subcontractors.
  • Serve in the National Command Center as the lead Healthcare Alliances Network Coordinator responsible for identification, activation, and coordination of ground healthcare alliances network assets.
  • Network Manager will maintain current and accurate data within the Healthcare Alliances Network Provider Database.
  • Proficient in the use of rapid communications platforms (ie. Everbridge) and other common disaster software platforms used in execution of job responsibilities.
  • Validate and maintain Healthcare Alliances Network provider contact and business information.
  • Network Manager will establish and maintain positive interpersonal and interagency working relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Emergency Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or closely related field.
    • 1 year experience in Public Safety, Emergency Management, EMS/Healthcare Operations or an emergency operations center environment.
    • Commensurate combinations of education and experience may be considered
    • Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
    • Completion of the following National Incident Management System (NIMS) training courses within 1 year of hire : IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800, ICS-300, ICS-400
    • Must sign and comply with the Department of Homeland Security Non-Disclosure Agreement.

      Preferred Qualifications
      • 3 years experience in Public Safety, Emergency Management, EMS/Healthcare Operations or an emergency operations center environment.

        • Physical requirements include lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
        • Subject to handling, vision, hearing and talking frequently; standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, kneeling, bending, twisting, climbing, balancing and foot controls occasionally; crouching and crawling rarely.
        • Tasks require prolonged periods of visual concentration.
        • During emergencies, exposed to unsound structures, hazardous debris, and other hazards.
        • Working conditions involve working outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat, humidity, cold, and precipitation.
        • Ability to function under extended stressful conditions, which may include, unusually long work shifts with limited breaks or sleep and long periods of standing.
        • Ability to physically deploy within six (6) hours for greater than thirty (30) days in support of OEM operational objectives.
