Develop patient management plans by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results. Determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription. Help patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises, giving massages, initiating traction, applying physical agents, and teaching patients how to use physical therapy equipment. Comfort patients and provide them with encouragement during therapeutic activities. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies. Enhance physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Proven ability to utilize effective manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and equipment Knowledge of physical therapy principles, theory, methods, and evidence-based practice Excellent interpersonal skills including effective communication with patients, family members, and a multidisciplinary team Strong observational and analytical skills Ability to manage time effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a registered Physical Therapist / PT American Heart Association CPR certification
