Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 19 hours per week - Shift: 4 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Overview: Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (Diagnostic Radiology) Facility: Dallas Regional Medical Center (DRTX) Department: Radiology – Diagnostic (76300) Assignment Dates: 02/15/2026 – 05/16/2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM (hours will be discussed) Pay - Hourly Rate: $52.00 - Overtime Rate: $78.00 - Weekly Gross Pay: $2,080.00 Job Description Dallas Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in an acute care setting. The technologist will operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, ensure patient safety, and comply with all state and federal regulations while delivering excellent patient care. Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures - Operate mobile and stationary imaging equipment - Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety practices - Start IVs and administer contrast media as required - Maintain accurate documentation and patient records - Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff - Adhere to state and federal regulatory standards Credentials & Requirements - Active state licensure and Fluoroscopy Permit (as required by state) - ARRT (R) registration required - CT ARRT certification required - BCLS/BLS (AHA) – current - Venipuncture Certificate (must be proficient in starting IVs for contrast injections) - Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program - Familiarity with state and federal radiology regulations - Proficient computer skills - Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology Experience - At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred - 1 year of acute care clinical radiology experience preferred - Experience with mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required Benefits: - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance Work Location: In person About Halcyon Nurse Staffing At Halcyon Nurse Staffing, we specialize in providing top-tier travel, Per diem, and Permanent staffing solutions nationwide.
