Job Description:
Methodist Health System, a leader in comprehensive healthcare
services across Texas, is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to
join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a highly
professional medical staff in our Radiology Department to provide
top-notch diagnostic imaging services. Our facilities are equipped
with the latest in imaging technology to aid in the diagnosis and
treatment of medical conditions. This role requires precision,
compassion, and a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Perform X-ray imaging as prescribed by medical professionals while
adhering to safety protocols. Prepare patients for radiological
procedures and convey all instructions clearly. Maintain radiology
equipment and report any malfunctions to the management team. Keep
accurate patient records and maintain the confidentiality of all
patient information. Assist radiologists with imaging procedures
and collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide
integrated care. Proficiency in operating X-ray and other
diagnostic imaging equipment. Strong understanding of radiology
protocols and safety standards. Excellent patient management skills
to handle diverse patient populations. Ability to work in a
fast-paced medical environment. Effective communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Certified and registered as a Radiologic
Technologist (RT, ARRT) Valid state licensure as required.
