Physical Therapist Location: Fort Worth, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,259 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: Licensed Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Physical Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year preferred License: Current licensure by the appropriate Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners Certifications: None specified Must-Have: B.S. in Physical Therapy from an accredited school Description: The Licensed Physical Therapist provides and executes a Physical Therapy plan of care for patients. Patients may have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The therapist evaluates and executes a Physical Therapy plan of care for patients. Documentation of patient care and charges is required. Leadership and direction are provided for Physical Therapist Assistants, support staff, and Physical Therapy students. Participation in professional development and continuing education ensures compliance with licensure laws and hospital policies. Involvement in departmental operational planning and goals action item meetings is expected. Job duties may change with or without notice. Staff are expected to perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: B.S. in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Current licensure by the appropriate Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of Physical Therapy principles. Knowledge of skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age, culture, and sex of the patient. Knowledge of healthcare compliance rules and regulations. Skilled in oral and written communication. Skilled with computers and computer programs. Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor to promote good interpersonal relationships. Ability to organize and manage time effectively. Ability to work productively under stressful situations. Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, reading, writing, and talking are required. Hearing ability for verbal communication via telephone systems and in-person communication is essential. Clear and concise speaking ability to provide information and instruction is necessary. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms, and other printed materials is required. Manual and tactile dexterity for palpation, use of a computer keyboard, writing, and handling objects is needed. Flexibility and body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, standing, reaching, lifting, and moving objects and equipment (approximately 25 lbs. or more with assistance). The candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of the job with assistive or adaptive devices or reasonable accommodations. Work Environment: Work is indoors and is subject to schedule changes and variable work hours. Local travel to multiple sites may be performed. There may be exposure to temperature changes, hazardous substances, and airborne pathogens. The environment may be noisy and involve frequent interruptions or distractions. Duties may be subject to stressful pressures and deadlines. Uniform or specific clothing and jewelry/accessories limitations may be required.
