Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory
Therapist to join our compassionate team in the Pediatric and
Neonatal Intensive Care Units. The chosen candidate will specialize
in providing respiratory care to infants and children with acute or
chronic respiratory disorders. Our commitment at HCA Healthcare is

respiratory therapies and state-of-the-art technology to administer
care under the direction of neonatologists and pediatricians.
Assess, diagnose, and treat infants and children with respiratory
illnesses and conditions in the NICU and Pediatric units. Operate
and monitor respiratory care equipment including ventilators and
incubators. Collaborate with pediatricians and neonatologists to
develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Educate
parents and families on the respiratory conditions of their
children and provide compassionate support. Maintain patient
records and document all respiratory care services and outcomes.
Stay updated with the latest respiratory care techniques and safety
protocols to ensure high-quality care. Proficient in pediatric and
neonatal respiratory care techniques. Ability to operate complex
respiratory care equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication
skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Capacity
to work under pressure in critical care environments. Medical

Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. Active
state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. BLS and PALS
certification from the American Heart Association.
