Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU and Pediatric care to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art facilities. This position requires a deep understanding of respiratory care for neonates and children, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Working in a highly collaborative medical environment, you will help implement tailored care plans and contribute to a mission that seeks to improve the health and well-being of every patient we serve. Assess and treat infants and children with breathing disorders or cardiopulmonary problems Administer and manage ventilation and other advanced respiratory support Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans Monitor and record patients' progress and adjust treatments as necessary Educate families on treatment plans and home care strategies Participate in clinical trials and continuous professional training Advanced knowledge of respiratory care practices and procedures, especially in a pediatric and NICU setting Proficiency with respiratory equipment such as ventilators, CPAP and BiPAP machines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Active state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner BLS/ACLS certified PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
