We are actively recruiting a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide critical inpatient obstetric care at a reputable facility in Rockwall, TX. Key Responsibilities: Manage admissions, deliveries, and postpartum care in a hospital setting Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Provide emergency obstetric care and respond swiftly to obstetric complications Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state regulations Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology Valid medical license to practice in Texas Proven experience in obstetric hospital medicine or related inpatient care Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience working as a Locum or in a hospitalist role Ability to handle high-volume obstetric cases Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Bilingual abilities, especially Spanish, are a plus Preferred Education and Experience: Completion of a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an inpatient obstetric setting Prior experience working in Texas hospitals is advantageous Other Requirements: Ability to start by the end of 2025, with flexibility for scheduling Willingness to travel and adapt to different hospital environments Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Expedited privileges possible for providers with clean files This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment with competitive hourly compensation of $0.00 (please specify your desired pay rate).
