Millwood Hospital is a 134-bed mental health facility that provides
inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency
treatment. Millwood s caring, and multidisciplinary staff has
successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and
chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and
senior adults since 1971. Millwood Hospital is located in
Arlington, TX in the heart of the city. It is 5 minutes away from
AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys. The hospital is less

Millwood Hospital is currently seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse
to join our team!
The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who
prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through
collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with
the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
Available Shift: 11p-7a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional
nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric
health-care facility preferred.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by
the Texas State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in
appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint (CPI) before on the unit
orientation and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must
pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic
developmental competency exam.
