Position Description: This position is located in our Dallas, TX office. For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available. We’re growing rapidly and are looking for Java Full Stack Tech Leads for various projects. You’ll be pivotal in design, build, and execution of innovative applications. Your future duties and responsibilities: - Responsible to Lead and drive with the team with the client - Responsible for sound and high-quality technical deliverables. - Drive the direction and roadmap for the microservices architecture. - Provide innovative solutions to complex situations and drive outcomes. - Provide technical guidance and architectural assistance around Kafka, Microservices, front end development and Mongo DB integrations - Help the other members of the team with technical queries and guide and mentor them to develop top quality code. - Work in an Agile environment and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of the business. - Always be ready to be hands-on to develop or fix issues to deliver on time and with highest quality. - Work closely with leadership and the whole Tech team - Work to guide team members to create test plans, and ensure the issues are properly identified, fixed and tested. - Develop incorporating the best practices. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: - At least 9 years of Java API development using Springboot, hands-on troubleshooting and deployment experience. (Mandatory) - At least 5 years of front end development with Angular, React, NodeJS. - 3 years experience working as a lead and driving high quality outcomes. - Excellent working knowledge of Open Shift Container Platform and Kubernetes. - Working knowledge of Kafka will be a huge value add. - Experience integrating Java based applications with Mongo DB. - Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments - Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams and in an Agile environment CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $114,800 - $175,400.
