Job Description:
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and precision
engineering, is seeking a Manual Machinist - Lathes and Mills to
join their dedicated team. As a Manual Machinist - Lathes and
Mills, you will be part of the industrial department supporting
manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent
problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the
organization. Job Title: Manual Machinist - Lathes and Mills
Location: Grand Prairie, TX Pay Range: $20-$30hr Shift:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM What's the Job? Set up and operate
manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts Read
and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
accurately Measure, inspect, and verify dimensions of machined
components to ensure quality standards Maintain a clean and safe
work environment adhering to safety protocols Perform routine
maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
What's Needed? Prior experience operating manual mills and lathes
(minimum 1 year) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
and blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques
Safety-conscious mindset with steel-toe shoes required; safety
