Join the family and expand your horizons! **Just some of our benefits:** Medical Dental Vision 401k Tuition reimbursement 12 paid holidays in addition to paid vacation and sick time Flexible spending Life Insurance, AD&D and Supplemental Insurance + Travel: + 5% + Minimum Educational Requirements: + High School diploma or equivalency certificate. + Job Specifications/Skills: + Minimum of two (2) years shipping and warehouse experience. + Have a tow motor license. + Good interpersonal skills. + Ability to prioritize in multitask environment. + Working knowledge of computer software programs: Microsoft Office, JD Edwards or similar enterprise business software systems. + Team cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers. + Nonessential Job Functions: + Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives. + Supervises the setting up of all materials for final package assembling insuring the correct materials and the most efficient work flow being used. + Knows where all materials are stored in the warehouse and production areas. + Works in conjunction with Manager/Supervisor to communicate with Production, Purchasing, etc. to determine assembly, shipping or receiving priorities. + Spot checks inventory levels of raw materials, containers and packages, and/or finished goods. Helps to direct periodic inventories of all on hand materials. + Operate tow motor to transport materials throughout the production and warehouse area safely. + Complies with all OSHA and Hazardous Material regulations pertaining to forklift truck operation including training and testing procedures. + Inspects his department for good housekeeping, safety, proper maintenance, etc. + Assist in the training of Operator II personnel in his area. + Physical ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds frequently. + Must be able to work in hot and/or cold weather conditions in open warehouse area. + Reviews Bill of Lading, packing slips, etc. for errors. + Verifies weights of materials being shipped. + Insures proper paperwork affixed to orders when shipped. + Secures carriers' signature. + Insures that trucks are properly loaded. + Reviews and turns in all paperwork to the Traffic Department. + Creates layout of loading diagram for truckload and export shipments. + **Covid-19 Precautions:** At all of our facilities we are taking additional precautions with temperature checks, deep cleaning, testing, and work from home opportunities.Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: + Insures that all materials are received in good condition per department Work Instructions. If not, follows department Work Instructions on how to handle (i.e.: take pictures, refuse delivery, note damage on receiving forms, etc.). + Fills out and reviews any required receiving forms to insure all information is noted and all shipping papers are attached. Enters information required into computer system and/or passes paperwork to proper department. + Fills out Bill of Lading verifying all information with the factory order. + Assists in selecting shipping carriers and scheduling of pick ups with dispatchers as required. + Insures all materials are shipped per Department Work Instructions by: LATICRETE is a world-wide manufacturer and marketer of globally proven construction solutions used in residential, commercial and industrial applications.
