At Klein Tools, you have the opportunity to forge your career with an iconic brand to drive your future!There has never been a better time to join Klein Tools!The MECM Systems Engineer is responsible for engineering, supporting, and maintenance of the Company's infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager ---MECM/SCCM/ConfigMgr---. This position will be primarily responsible for operating system deployment, application deployment, and patching across the enterprise. In addition, this position will implement hardware and software systems, plan and manage projects, document system processes and guidelines, and complete testing. This position will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of server and storage systems and performing any necessary troubleshooting and/or repairs along with the team.Specific Responsibilities1. Act as the primary point of contact for the MECM environment including operating system deployment, software deployment, patching, remediation, and testing.2. Oversee security patching for server and workstations systems to ensure systems maintain current patch levels and patches are applied in the least distributive manner.3. Provide Microsoft Windows Server product support and maintenance.4. Setup, administer, and maintain on site and cloud-based server infrastructure.5. Monitor the performance of all infrastructure systems and resolve or escalate any issues.6. Analyze user needs to design and implement systems by applying knowledge of computing systems and software structure. Address user needs and concerns promptly and effectively.7. Document technical processes and organizational guidelines.8. Proactively research, recommend, and implement next generation solutions. Work with vendors to determine server and storage system selections based on technical requirements, price, and support.9. Build and maintain effective relationships with client technical teams through trust, superior delivery and quality engagement.10. Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.Job Qualification RequirementsA Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or a related field and three ---3--- years of experience with Windows Server administration in a virtualized environment are required. Two ---2--- years of ConfgMgr experience specifically relating to endpoint management ---Patching/OSD/Application Deployment--- in a medium to large enterprise setting ---1000+ endpoints--- preferred. Experience with Windows networking and Microsoft Active Directory administration preferred. Experience with the following technologies is a plus: Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manger ---MECM/SCCM/ConfigMgr---, DHCP, DNS, backup software ---Veeam preferred---, group policy management, Windows file and print services.Must have excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the company. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Physical Demand RequirementsOccasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch orcrawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
