lives of others. Position title: Lead, Network Systems Engineer
Work location: Irving, TX Position Description As part of a team of
Sr. Network Engineers supporting our global Network infrastructure
this position requires strong communication and technical skills.
You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, installing,
configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure and management
application components for the global enterprise environment.
Perform a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and
training tasks to ensure the network performance meets established
service levels as well as design and security best practice.
Provide direction, information, and recommendations regarding
network configurations and installations. Key Responsibilities: ---
Interface with the Business Units and fellow team members ---
Configuring and Managing Cisco Viptela SD-WAN environment ---
Thorough understanding of network services, (i.e.,
high-availability, DNS/DHCP, IPAM, NTP,SNMP), Network Security, IP
Routing, ipsec/SSL VPN, NAT, LAN/WAN technologies --- Configure and
maintain different Cisco Devices, Management of Appliances, Azure
environments, --- Design, configure, and maintain complex
datacenter enterprise switching environments --- Lead in the design
of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS,
Ether-Channel, LACP, vPC, layer2 trunking --- Problem management at
Level 4 with support as well as effective escalation as required
Qualifications Minimum Requirements Critical skills required: --- 9
years of hands on experience as a subject matter expert (SME) role
with Cisco/Arista routing and switching in a large Data Center
Environment --- Minimum 9 years experience with installing,
upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining multi-VRF Enterprise
Cisco/Arista environments, and interoperability with other vendor
platforms --- Experience with Azure network infrastructure related
components (Transit Gateway, Cisco CSR, Palo Alto, vpc, elastic
IPs, ELB). Additional Knowledge & Skills Proven experience
supporting & troubleshooting complex systems Excellent oral and
written communication skills Proven ability to work with customers
to prioritize issues & communicate status Self-starter, capable of
seeing projects/fixes through to completion Ability to multi-task
and work effectively across multiple deliverables Effective
analytical, business analysis and problem-solving skills Ability to
prioritize/communicate conflicting demands Ability to design and
implement solutions Education : Bachelor's degree, preferably IT or
Computer Science discipline Physical Requirements : General Office

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual
bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. Our Base
Pay Range for this position $124,400 - $207,400 McKesson is an
