Job Description:
Description: RF Simulation and Algorithm Systems Engineer will
work on developing real-time RADAR simulation algorithms as part of
a hardware-in-the-loop RF scene generator. Engineer will assess
customer supplied models and algorithms to determine if they meet
the sensor's simulation requirements and adapt and design C++ and
MATLAB algorithms that utilize these models that work in a
real-time GPU/CUDA environment and interfaces with pre-existing
RFSOC signal generation hardware.
Tasks include:
- MATLAB and C++ development in Windows and Linux environment to
develop high fidelity RADAR sensor simulations.
- Developing RADAR physics and RADAR environment models in C++ to
simulate and real-time test existing sensor.
- Agile development, configuration management and verification of
software throughout development
- Testing and Performance Analysis of algorithms in simulation and
on hardware.
- Design of MATLAB Prototypes and Analysis
- Algorithm implementation in C++ that is compatible with
acceleration on GPUs, etc.
- Interfacing with HW and embedded SW engineers to fully develop
real-time HWIL system for testing sensor and algorithms.
- Interfacing with customers to understand fidelity of models and
ability to assess acceptability of customer models for desired
requirements.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting
position.

Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of
Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active DoD Secret
clearance
- Understanding of modern RADARs and RADAR modeling experience
- RF polarized environment model development experience
- RADAR signal processing algorithm development experience
- Simulation design experience
- Proficient in C/C++ development (Windows/Linux)
- Proficient in MATLAB
Desired Skills:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9
years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional
experience with a related Master's degree.
- Understanding of advanced RADAR signal processing and
techniques
- Understanding of real-time systems and concurrent processing
- AGILE SW development
- Knowledge of RCS and RF modeling tools
- Systems Engineering Requirements Management and Processes

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
