Position summary Downer's Road Services business is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 40,000 km of road. Our Business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout the country. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Leading Hand with experience in Traffic signals, ITS devices and/or Roads Lighting to join our high performing Maintenance Team in Brisbane QLD. Your role would include leading multiple crews in the maintenance, installation, testing and commissioning of traffic signals across multiple installations. You will be accountable for the delivery of asset specific maintenance activities, the performance of assets outlined by a contract performance framework and the performance of your team under your direct area of control whilst being supported by an enthusiastic team that promotes a culture of respect, integrity, accountability and individual engagement to enable business outcomes. ABOUT YOU You will possess a current QLD Electrical License together with;

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience working in the Industry.
• Demonstrated Supervisory experience leading multiple teams
• Exemplary leadership qualities with proven track record in leadership and management of resources
• Main Roads network experience - highly regarded
• Meeting all requirements of the most current Electrical Safety Act, Specifications and Standards
• Training and development of staff and apprentices
• Assessment and review of quality practices and reporting
• Sub-contractor management
• Demonstrated commercial and financial management
• Ensuring continuous adherence to build standards and quality measures
• Conforming to health and safety procedures and statutory obligations on work sites as well as promoting these practices to the crews WHAT WE OFFER
