An Electrical Engineer Staff is needed to support the Lower Tier IAMD Production efforts relative to PAC-3 missile subsystems electronics located at Lockheed Martin's Grand Prairie Texas facility. The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field). The candidate will be responsible for working with other disciplines to resolve hardware failures, discrepancies and/or test anomalies (involving root-cause analysis, failure review boards, adequate corrective action and subsequent Quality Note disposition) resulting in the return to service of suspect electronic assemblies. The candidate will be responsible for supporting drawing changes through the formal change process. The Candidate must have a demonstrated aptitude and skills to utilize various instruments to troubleshoot hardware failures such as Digital Multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network analyzer and spectrum analyzer for troubleshooting electrical and/or computer equipment failures. Knowledge of printed wiring board and printed wiring assembly fabrication processes is desired as well as Cadence tool experience for schematic capture. Candidate must possess good oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and technical writing skills. The candidate should be a self-starter and be able to work under minimum direction. The candidate must have the ability to work well in a team environment. The candidate should understand the concept of hardware obsolescence. Travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, supplier's facilities, and customer facilities will be required. There will be approximately 5 trips per year with each trip lasting up to 5 days in duration. Candidate must have or be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
