Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining a high
level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. The
Inventory Control Clerk will also be responsible for ensuring a
conforming product mix, facilitating efficient order fulfillment,
and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.

Pay $18.50/HR ($1500 Sign On Bonus)

Shift and Schedule:
Facility Operates 365 days a year
Full-time: Monday - Friday 5am to 1:30pm with OT as needed
Weekends/Holidays as required
Flexibility to work overtime
About the Role:
-Responsible for completing physical inventories, cycle counts,
random audits and reconciliations
-Track and report non-conforming product
-Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
-Research and reconcile product discrepancies/variances of
over/under amounts and damaged products
-Publish daily/weekly/quarterly inventory metrics for cycle counts,
order fill, line fill and shrink
-Work with warehouse personnel to ensure proper rotation and
location of all inventory
-Assist Inbound with dimensions and new item setup
-Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
-Track obsolete items to be identified for donation or
destruction
-Maintain product identification and location program
-Identify slotting needs for items in the pickline to ensure all
items on the daily drop are available for picking
-Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed (performs
root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends
process improvements to eliminate them)
Qualifications:
2 years of general office experience required
1 year of customer service experience required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
and PowerPoint required
AS400 experience preferred
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of
the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule,
work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment
application, submit to a background investigation (to include past
employment, education, and criminal history) and drug
screening.
