Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe client requires that all employees, temporary
workers, and contractors of Airbus will be fully vaccinated by
December 8, 2021, or prior to employment.Position Summary:Perform
installation, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of all the
facility mechanical and electrical systems. Works frequently with
AIRBUS and employees and outside contractors to coordinate and
interface their work with the operations of the facilityPrimary
Responsibilities:Facilities Technician: 60%
- Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to effectively trouble
shoot, repair and operate the following systems; mechanical energy
management systems, mechanical equipment, electrical systems,
plumbing systems, life safety systems and common facility support
systems.
- Repair or replace automated mechanical damper
motors/controllers/drives
- Perform control adjustments to the mechanical energy management
system
- Install new equipment using blue prints and plans.
- Perform preventative maintenance, maintain maintenance
schedules and records.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance of power
carts and equipment
- Participate in department safety program. Use and maintain
safety devices and protective equipment.
- Supports the Facilities Manager as needed to provide excellent
customer service e to the AIRBUS sitesAircraft Fueling/De-Fueling:

- Company and customer aircraft and motor vehicles
- Follow company and NFPA fueling/defueling procedures
- Solid understanding of responsible fuel transportation and
storage
- High competency of fueling equipment and operations
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance of the fuel
truck
- Oil, oil and air filter changes
- Check and maintain all fluids and lighting
- Inspect and maintain all safety placards
- Perform regular fuel equipment inspections and maintenance
- Inspect all hoses, grounding equipment and fire extinguishers
on the fuel truck and bowser daily for proper operations
- Perform annual fuel filter replacement on the fuel truck
equipment and bowser
- Maintain all fuel equipment maintenance records and
calibrationsAdditional Responsibilities:

- Respond to Facility issues and notify appropriate personnel
24/7/365 as directed by Manager, Facilities Technical

- It is required that this person supports Facilities Operations
as best as capable during non-fueling periods.Qualified Experience
/ Skills / Training:Education:Required:
- High school diploma or equivalentPreferred:
- Formalized training for fuel handling, storage and
transportation
- Technical trade school (electrical, HVAC, plumbing,
construction)Experience:Required:
- Minimum of four (4) years' facilities maintenance/technician
experience in the areas of electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.Preferred:
- Minimum of two (2) years' high volume fuel handling
experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years' large vehicle mechanical
maintenance
- Ten years' facilities maintenance (electrical, HVAC,
plumbing)Licensure/Certifications:Required:
- Current state issued driver's licensePreferred:
- Current AV Fueling certificate
- Trade license (electrical, HVAC, Plumbing)
- OSHA (40-hour training cert)
