• Position Title: Forklift Operator
• Position Location: Grand Prairie, TX
• Hourly Pay: $14.00
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Work Hours: 6:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Work Week: Monday - FridayPOSITION SUMMARY:The Forklift driver performs quality control, sorting, and maintaining the flow of components through the warehouse to assure that quality-checked material are available to the production lines and other departments.ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  Monitor and maintain inventoryOrganize and secure materials, such as boxes, bales, pallets, and super stacks in a safe wayScan pallets and materials using RFGEN scanners Shrinkwrap pallets to prepare them for shippingMove hazardous materialsReport any faulty equipment, damage to racks, or other potential safety hazardsAttend certification refresher coursesUse basic math skillsMaintain a clean work areaAnalyze production schedules to determine movement, deliveries, and material requirementsMaintain equipment by cleaning, oiling, recharging, refueling, etc.Consult and coordinate with the manager, employees, other departments, and equipment manufacturers regarding loading and unloading operationsAttend meetings with management and coworkersPrepare, present and/or approve the bill of ladingsCheck-in and approve new shipmentsPerform quality checksAdhere to uniform requirementsRotate stock so the oldest products are first pickedBe alert of other employees in the work zoneReport quality variances to the proper channelsUse radio frequency equipment as needed for picking, put-away, receiving, and load functionsComply with OSHA StandardsKeep the Lines running by ensuring they have enough material at all timesPerforms other duties as assigned that would lead to the successful operation of department, Team/or mission. Be detailed oriented to ensure the correct item goes to the correct line. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Must be able to lift 50lbs at one time as needed.Equal Opportunity Employer
