Associated Couriers provides a unique delivery service for the medical sector and is looking for a safe and dependable Full-Time Lead Delivery Driver-DOT with Hazmat endorsement to join our Grand Prairie, TX team on a full-time basis covering various local routes. Responsibilities:Comply with ICC and DOT regulations dailyTransport freight from distribution to delivery site without errorCommunicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveriesMonitor driver progress throughout the day to ensure drivers are meeting their delivery goalsTrain new and existing drivers in proper customer service, efficient route driving, paperwork, and proper customer interactionMaintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulationsCompletes Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC RegulationsPerform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each tripLoad and unload freight to and from vehicle using safety perimeters that are put into placeSecuring cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicleFollow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate timesMaintain detailed driving and delivery logsTrack and report working hoursResponsible for counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up to ensure accurate paperwork for customer transactionsObey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditionsProvide a high standard of Customer Service while delivering goods to customersOther responsibilities as delegated by managementRequirements:Minimum of 2 years logistics, distribution and/or transportation/Supply Chain Solutions experienceHas a high school diploma or higherPossesses a valid CDL driver's license with Hazmat Endorsement with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents in the last 3 years Is authorized in the United States without any type of work authorization or work sponsorship now or in the futureMust be able to pass a DOT Drug Test to comply with FMSCA requirementsHas open work availability including nights and weekendsAbility to travel to other cities when neededAbility to comprehend the last-mile delivery industry, our capabilities and deliver our value propositionA solid working knowledge of and proficiency with all Microsoft products (excel, word, outlook, teams, power-point, etc.)Ability to interact with customers and communicate delivery problems verbally over the phoneOrganized, attentive to detail, accountable, open-minded, coachable, self-starting, solid follow-through, and multi-tasking What we offer:Weekly payMedical, dental, vision insurance are available to employee on day one401k with matchShort & Long Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany paid and optional life insuranceFlexible schedule provided performance metrics are metA culture where you have a say in how best to run all aspects of the operationAdvancement opportunities in a fast-growing organizationAssociated Couriers is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.pm21PI208200002
