offerings including skill-crane games, capsule toy/confection
stands, video games, and kiddie rides. NEN has over 55,000 machines
in over 15,000 locations across the country.The holder of a Service
Technician position at NEN will contribute to our success by aiding
in the repair and maintenance of our coin operated entertainment
equipment, located throughout the Territory and in the
warehouse/shop.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but
are not limited to, the following: -
- Analyze broken or damaged electronic controlled equipment,
video games, redemption games, vending equipment etc. to identify
issue and best avenue to resolve by;
- Testing and evaluating operation of machinery and
equipment
- Repairing, replacing, adjusting, and aligning components of
machinery and equipment
- Cleaning and lubricating parts, equipment, and machinery
- Test run repaired equipment to verify adequacy of repairs
- Repairing and replacing electrical wiring and components of
machinery
- Assembling and disassembling arcade, components, and other
parts, using hand tools or power tools
- Troubleshooting electrical short circuits with volt meters
- Requesting parts needed to make electronic controlled equipment
fully operational and fully refurbished
- Read schematics and repair green boards
- Complete CRT and flat screen monitor repairs
- Trace wires for open circuits and continuity using a volt
meter
- Maintains company tools in proper working condition
- Keeps service area clean and organized in the work
areaQUALIFICATIONS -To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge,
skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be

essential functions.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience working with surface
mount and through-hole circuit board components
- Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software repair

- Knowledge of electricity, both 120 Volt AC and 12 Volt DC
- Must know how to use a multimeter (voltage meter)
- A minimum of three (3) years of soldering experience
- Frequently lift 10 lbs. to 50 lbs. above waist height
- Must be comfortable working on knees for extended periods of
time
- Push and move equipment 30lbs to 100 lbs. -
- Background checks and drug tests will be required
- Regular, reliable attendance requiredEDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE -
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
required
- Associate degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
