Job Description:

This position focuses on gaining the knowledge of and experience needed to use K&N's business management software, use the Call Center Queue Management software, gain a solid understanding of the products and services offered by K&N and its brands, understand how to follow and where to look for department and company procedures and policies, gain an understanding of how to navigate the company websites, and gain an understand the information provided on the websites.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesData entry is a large part of this position and will be utilized during the entire training periodK&N's business management software - Learn how to operate and navigate the software as it relates to entering, updating, and answering questions related to order entry, returns, product price and availability, and providing solutions to issues with orders and returns such as overages, shortages, and keying errorsCall Center Queue Management software Learn how to operate and navigate the software as it relates to receiving and processing order emails, phone calls, general emails, and live chatsCompany websites Learn about the company websites, how consumers use and navigate the websites, and where information can be found on the various productsProduct information Learn about the benefits, features, and uses of the various products offered by K&N and each of its brands. Information includes basic product specs and information, vehicle application lookup, product related to one another, and other general product knowledge.Procedures and policies Learn where to find and how to read the written policies, procedures, and guidelines for the departmentA Successful Customer Service Agent TraineeWill possess accurate data entry related to the duties and responsibilities of the positionWill possess a basic understanding of customer accounts and their detailsBe able to navigate and operate K&N's business management software related to the duties and responsibilities of the positionBe able to navigate and operate K&N's Call Center Queue Management software related to the duties and responsibilities of the positionBe able to navigate and operate K&N's and its brand websites the same as a consumer wouldBe able to identify and effectively communicate information related to the products offeredMust be able to simultaneously handle multiple duties, manage time, and follow through on assignments with little or no supervision.Be able to regularly enter orders and returns with no to minimal errorsWill be able to create outside-the-box solutionsEducation/Experience1+ years or equivalent of office or inside customer service / call center experience preferred1 or more years of experience working in customer service or data entry industry preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferredAutomotive enthusiasm is highly preferredSolid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelTyping and 10-key skills with an emphasis on production and accuracy
