The Vice President of Sales will be a pivotal member of the
executive team, responsible for developing and executing the
company’s sales strategy, building and scaling high-performing
sales teams, and fostering a results-driven, collaborative culture.
This individual will drive revenue growth across all tobacco
product categories and channels, while ensuring alignment with
brand, regulatory, and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement national sales
strategies that align with business goals and drive sustained
revenue growth. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and
competitive landscape to identify new opportunities. Establish
sales forecasts, KPIs, and performance metrics. Leadership & Team
Development Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team
across multiple regions and product lines. Foster a culture of
accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Identify
skill gaps and invest in professional development and coaching.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Marketing,
Product Development, Operations, and Compliance to ensure
go-to-market alignment. Support product launches, pricing
strategies, and promotional campaigns. Channel Management Oversee
relationships with key distributors, retail partners, and
wholesalers. Expand presence across underdeveloped markets and
optimize current channels. Compliance & Ethics Ensure all sales
activities align with federal, state, and local regulations within
the tobacco industry. Promote ethical practices and a deep
understanding of the regulatory landscape. Qualifications 10 years
of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in regulated
consumer goods (tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, or similar). Proven
track record of driving revenue growth and leading large,
distributed sales teams. Experience building and executing national
or multi-regional sales strategies. Strong leadership,
communication, and team-building skills. Deep understanding of B2B
and retail sales channels. Ability to travel as needed (~25–40%).
Preferred Qualifications Experience within the tobacco or nicotine
products industry. Familiarity with FDA regulations and other
compliance standards in the tobacco space. MBA or advanced degree
