The successful candidate will have a strong background in litigation and mediation, with a proven track record of successfully defending insurance claims. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive legal defense services to our clients in the insurance industry, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and workers' compensation claims. Develop and implement robust defense strategies, utilizing your litigation and mediation skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Conduct thorough and detailed investigations into claims, gathering all necessary information and evidence to build a strong defense. Represent our clients in court, presenting compelling arguments and effectively cross-examining witnesses. Negotiate settlements with claimants, working to minimize the financial impact on our clients. Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance law, ensuring our defense strategies are always compliant and effective. Work closely with our team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, providing guidance and mentorship as needed. Job Details Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar. A minimum of 7 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on insurance defense. Proven track record of success in litigation and mediation. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to achieve favorable settlements. High level of integrity and professional ethics. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
